DAI SKILLS - PRACTICAL PROJECT BRIEF Learn. Apply. Progress. 1. THE PROBLEM What useful need are you trying to address? Who is the work for? What would a reasonable, limited outcome look like? 2. YOUR STARTING POINT What do you already understand? What will you need to learn or clarify? What information is available, and what is missing? 3. APPROACH AND TOOLS Which tools or methods will you use, and why? Where is AI assistance appropriate? Which decisions must remain with you or another qualified person? 4. SAFE INPUTS Use public, fictional, or appropriately authorized material. Do not include passwords, personal records, or confidential information. Record the sources and any licensing or permission requirements. 5. YOUR CONTRIBUTION Describe what you created, changed, tested, or decided. Identify assistance from AI or other people where relevant. Be able to explain the final work in your own words. 6. VERIFICATION Which facts, calculations, links, or behaviors did you check? What feedback did you receive? Which corrections did you make? 7. OUTCOME AND LIMITATIONS What works? What remains uncertain? Do not invent impact figures or performance claims. What would you improve with another iteration? 8. PORTFOLIO SUMMARY Write a short description of the problem, approach, contribution, verification, result, and remaining limitations. This is an educational planning aid, not an assessment, accreditation, professional opinion, or employment guarantee.
